Young apprentice Tom Gardener had his first duty as a YEUK ambassador last month, when he went to London to visit youth marketing agency, Livity.

Livity work with young people to co-create campaigns, content and communities and give young people training, support and opportunities to build brighter futures. Livity wanted to understand young people’s opinions about programmes available on ITV2, the branding associated with the channel and how young people interact via social media.

Tom feels very strongly about young people in today’s society, and couldn't wait to get “stuck-in” with other youth ambassadors, in hopes that the opinions shared are taken on board. Tom said “travelling to London to meet people from Livity and ITV2 was a great experience and I hope I helped them out with all my suggestions”

Here at Spraylat we are very proud to be a youth friendly organisation, and are so please with the progress Tom is making, not only with his apprenticeship as a lab technician but also the progress he is making through the opportunities he has been given through YEUK.
